As a qualified personal trainer, strongwoman and manual therapist, Ann has always recognised the importance of freedom in movement. From an early age, her interests have been rooted in dance, athletics, running and team sports. It was this passion for movement along with her empathic nature that led her into personal training and manual therapies.  Ann’s extensive experience in the gym - working with clients both physically and psychologically to help keep them fit, healthy and motivated - has helped her build an in-depth knowledge of the human body and psyche. She brings this insight to her work as a manual therapist.

Ann’s massage journey began with Swedish Body back in 2005. She is now in the 2nd year of a Level 6 BTEC Professional Diploma in Clinical and Sports Massage with the highly acclaimed Jing Massage Institute, Brighton.

In her practice, Ann adopts a wide range of soft tissue techniques including soft tissue release,  deep tissue friction, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and assisted stretching. Ann is conscious of the psychological and societal pressures and the effect they can have on our bodies. As such she is mindful of these external factors when structuring treatments and aftercare instruction.
