With over 20 years of movement experience as a professional dancer, Dan has a passion for all things movement-based, and has developed a keen sensibility of touch through working with people in different physical capacities and environments. Consequently, he has gained a knowledgeable understanding and intuition of reading the body in motion, identifying movement, behavioural, and compensatory patterns.
His intimate relationship to movement, work and study awoke deep respect and curiosity for the human body. He is fascinated by and continually developing a keen eye and practice on the essential role that movement, nutrition, behaviour and perception play in promoting health and well-being, and the balance between stress, resilience and recovery. This fascination led him to explore the prevention, treatment and management of chronic pain and injury.
A passion for helping people out of pain drives his growth and development in the fields of Advanced Clinical Massage, Sports Massage, Dry Needling, Nutrition Coaching and rehabilitation through movement.
He places awareness on and has the utmost respect for pain's complexity and how it affects people differently. Working with compassion and empathy, he tailors his treatment together with his clients to meet their particular needs and goals, using a comprehensive theoretical knowledge base coupled with application specificity. Dan believes in the influence of integral relationships and support in managing pain and injury, and aims to provide ongoing support to his clients long after leaving the treatment table.
Dan will return in September to the University College Of Osteopathy in London, for the second year of a five year Master's degree in Osteopathy.

I first met Dan whilst attending boxing classes. We got talking and I explained to Dan that I was recovering from a back injury that I had sustained that resulted in four months of bad sciatic pain. I attended two sessions with Dan and the results were remarkable.(I must say at this point that during my period of sciatic pain that I had seen a lot of physio/ chiropractor's to no avail.) and still the stretches and exercises Dan recommended are continuing to help two months later, still pain free and very satisfied 10/10.
As an over enthusiastic “midlife” woman, I had always been into fitness and totally love to encourage fitness and a healthy lifestyle whenever I can, but being also a full time hair salon owner has put strain obviously on my arms and shoulders over the years, so when all this resulted in a very painful shoulder injury(all my own doing) I needed help? Danny was recommended to me and I can honestly say his help and knowledge with all his techniques over a period of three/four sessions helped my shoulder to fully recover, I never stopped any of my fitness classes during his treatment and have been able to continue with my daily life without any problems since 👍 , I’ve also recommended Danny to other friends that have also been totally satisfied with the results they received. 5 star ⭐ treatment all round xx
I was recommended to Danny by a friend that spoke very highly of his practice. At the time I was suffering with a painful Achilles heel which I had hurt during exercise. I found Danny to be very knowledgeable in his field and understanding of what was required but also of other areas of your life that can contribute to the impact on your body. Not only did Danny help my heel but what I was most impressed at was that I have bad varicose veins in my ankle/leg and through massage and manipulation he eased them greatly, also the appearance of them. Nobody I have seen before or since has managed to do that. Danny also explains relevant exercises you can do to relieve the symptoms and why they help. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
I saw Danny for a pain in my hip. Whilst in my first session Danny noticed that my hip was out of alignment and that I was limping. He corrected the alignment and together with this and the exercises he showed me I've had no problems with it since then. Would highly recommend Danny, he definitely knows his profession and is very passionate about it.
I am a dancer and I developed a sharp pain in my knee which really affected me, I had to take some time away from dancing as I physically could not do it, it was extremely painful. My GP told me to go to the hospital to see a physiotherapist, I had many appointments at the hospital for months and nothing worked. I was really scared I was going to have to give up dancing, however, my dance teacher told me about Dan. I had 2 or 3 sessions with Dan before I felt my knee getting better. He gave me movements to follow which I could easily practice at home. Dan is so friendly and he is absolutely amazing at what he does! Since Dan helped me I have had absolutely no problems with my knee at all. I can’t thank Dan enough for what he has done for me.
As an ex professional dancer I have had alot of treatment from alot of therapists over the past 15 years. I am picky about who I work with and Dan has most definitely been the most effective and efficient therapist I have worked with to date. My treatment has been hugely beneficial and I really felt listened to and heard before the treatment started, as for the treatment itself I would say that Dan was like a human MRI. He was able to accurately pin point the problem areas and found the route cause of my pain within our first session. I left my treatments feeling much better physically but also left with the confidence that my pain would not last much longer with the hands on treatment and extra exercises I received from Dan. To finish off I would recommend Dan's services so highly that I will not be looking for a new therapist as he moves away, I will now be traveling to see him (5-6 hour round trip) when necessary.
